No! The Venue at Oak Place welcomes any type of event. Weddings, corporate events, conferences, birthday parties, workshops and more – we do it all!
The maximum capacity of the venue is 250 people indoors, we are located on 4 acres and the possibilities for outdoor events are endless.
We want to work with all budgets. Rental rates are based on what portions of the venue are rented and the hours needed. We do offer Micro Wedding and Elopement Packages but are not limited to just weddings, we host parties, corporate events, workshops and more
No, We are vendor-flexible. As long as your vendor is licensed and insured we would be honored to work with them on your special occasion
WE REQUIRE EVENT liability INSURANCE WITH EVERY EVENT**
For beer and wine, you must have a bartender. No self-serving! For liquor, you have to have a licensed bartender and a security guard on property. Guests cannot have their own bottles of liquor. We are not responsible for serving alcohol or alcohol consumption.
We have limited inventory of tables and chairs. We do have six 60-inch round tables, ten 8-ft rectangle tables, two 4-ft square tables, and 175 banquet chairs for a low rental fee. Feel free to rent more if needed. We do not have tablecloths.
Yes you may bring in your own decorations. However all decorations must be removed by 11pm. Candles are permitted but must be battery-operated. No nails, tape, tacks, or command hooks on the walls. All send offs must be approved by the venue manager
Friday rehearsals are subject to availability. If the venue is booked the day prior to your event, Tuesday-Thursday practice rehearsals are an option
A signed contract and a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount are due in order to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to event.
